Trees from a distance

Yes Jeff, that tree, along with most other around here are N. Maple. Crap trees, that one you pointed out is a crimson king.

And youre wrong again.

I will take closer photos if noone gets it tomorrow. You will all kick yourselves when the species is revealed.
 
Alright, then! Without further ado, I would like to use one of my seventy-three turns that I have saved up!

This is the only photo I have of this tree, so I will give one hint:

This tree is just a bit South of it's supposed southernmost hardiness zone.

Tom - this tree doesn't look very happy. Xman's Yew didn't look happy either. All of BB's trees have been topped. Maybe we should rename this thread "The unhappy trees".....

I go with Eastern hemlock as well BUT since EZ got it in before me I'll concede to him

This tree is growing in a wooded area with mostly deciduous trees around it, and it is relatively healthy, despite the look from the photo. It is also none of the above guesses, I believe all of those trees' ranges extend well South of RI. This tree, according to some, is not supposed to grow here.
