Trees from a distance

Probably, I only know the beach. What is interesting to me, is that the pines grow larger in cultivation than in the wild. Most likly an issue of water.
 
Something like 7000 of them... Yea, heard of Torrey Pines all my life-- the golf course. Never knew it was a pine tree.

virginiana it is...planted right on the edge of the lawn next to an apartment complex--they aren't all that old, but they do look to be healthy and vibrant.
 
I have family in Virginia Beach so I've seen a few live oaks up there in parts of VA. We have some big daddys here in Charleston.

I'll get something up in a bit.
