Trees from a distance

Here is one on hallowed ground. Very fitting for this weekend since the first occupants here are casualties of the war that started the holiday. Let us never forget any and all who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

In 2007 and 2008 the Georgia Arborists Assn did two work days that I organized. In 2007 we had arborists from 7 states turn up. Not quite so many in 2008. Together we did about $60,000 worth of work. A fine time was had by all. There are several Witness trees in the cemetary as well as several Southern Magnolias that were planted by Clara Barton in July of 1865 just after the war.
