Here's a closer look at the platanus. I see the bark is not like a london plane. Tom post up, bro you got it.

Something about the sweep of the branches reminds me of Ulmus parvifolia, but I have never seen one that large/ancient...
 
we grow up so fast Tom.
The elm in my avatar is (from what i was told when i saw the picture) an elm just off the UMass Amherst campus, one of a handful left, that is called the Grayson Elm.
If anyone's familiar with the area its just off Sunset Ave. Cant miss it, its the huge Elm.

Not trying to learn how to post pictures today, someone else feel free to post something.
