Good eye Robinia.....that is Kew! Negative on the guesses. Small tree can get lg. has leaves similar to full moon maple but it is not maple. Lg tree is uhhhhh LARGE......and it is in Kew

No Beech but is in fagacae family. (the large tree that is) the lg tree is native to the Caucasus. The small tree is native to Asia.

Sorry Robinia you are incorrect.......on the small one. It is Kalopanax pictus (has good to decent possibilities as a park or lawn "orny" ROBINIA IS CORRECT on the OAK! This is the largest and FASTEST GROWING of all the trees in Kew!!!
