You're probably right about Picea abies. I think the other conifer is Thuja occidentalis but not sure.
Most importantly, not F. americana.

(the more I look at it I think the stump might be a different species, probably Thuja occidentalis. Seems more likely that a seed started growing on top)

siberian elm, ulmus pumila. From farther back the twigs looked opposite so I guessed maple or ash. Up close I'm not sure.

To me, it clearly looks like an elm, most likely pumila like william said, but possibly rubra as well. ? I'm leaning like 99% toward william's guess.
