On Friday I'm leaving Minneapolis and driving to Kansas City to experience the eclipse. I'm bringing along two arc welding helmets with #14 filter glass to watch the eclipse directly. The last time I did this there was a partial eclipse in Minneapolis. It was on a day when I was fabricating a bumper extension at a friends welding shop. Larry and I spent a nice break watching the sun instead of the arc
