Treemotion mods

MarkB,

How can you make one of the lightest harnesses on the market then proceed to make it one of the most weighed down harnesses in the history of arboriculture? Its a cool irony.

great photo

Is it?

On the photo I see:

1 handsaw
1 lanyard plus adjuster
1 footlock lanyard
1 figure of eight
1 Ropeman
1 120cm webbing sling

for resuce/emergency:
1 first aid pack
1 short webbing link with two krabs
1 loop of 6mm Globe

0 Rolls of Duck tape

The first six items I use all the time, every day. The latter three rarely. But how often do you use the first aid kit in your car. That's what emergency planning is about, isn't it: not being caught with your pants down. Whoops... not sure if that image is very PC?! But you see where I'm coming from.

I just got my TreeMotion a couple days ago. Here is how I have my gear setup for now, although I'll probably change it. The first thing I'll probably do is figure out how to mount the pouch higher on the belt.

As well as stuffing my lanyard in the pouch to keep it out of the way (much easier than daisy chaining) I also have inside: one webbing sling, one belay device (Cinch), one life support carabiner, and friction saver retrieval link.
