Well, tree's ARE magic but I was wondering more about the differences between the first, second and third versions of this saddle? I use a tree motion for work and wanted a lighter saddle for rec climbs. Am I regressing?!
Thanks
Paul

The difference between the first second and third.

The number of rings on the floating bridge. No. I'm not kidding. Im serious.

I owned one for about a year. It's very very light weight. Takes a while to get adjusted but once you do it's pretty comfy.

But alas my torrid love affair with this saddle went just as the other ones did. I switched back to my treemotion for one day and fell in love all over again.

Thanks familytree. That's really the difference? How bizarre.
Does it sit low like the tree motion and tree flex, I can't climb while my kidneys get massaged?

Yea. Sits pretty low. I enjoyed the saddle but not while hanging s chainsaw off of it.

Hollenreich swears by it. I've seen him sit in that thing for 12 hours and have no problems that's why I bought it.

I miss him.

hes kinda like an old flame that you always fought with!! you split because she drove ya nuts and when youre apart for like 3 years you forget all the negative stuff and just remember the incredible se.......well you get the picture!!

I have a tree magic, if you are talking about the Edelrid one, two D's on the bridge...I don't like how small the side D's are. I wish it had quick release buckles on the leg loops.
But it is super comfortable once you get it adjusted (its super adjustabe) and has loads of loops for gear. I like the bent gate krab on the hip that comes standard, I added another one on the other side.

This is my spare harness, I regularly climb in a B'fly.
