Thats a lightweight, cheap saddle from the UK.....looks like it would be a good first saddle, or a good alternative to a Petzl.

Mark looks like he has a thong on with this saddle!

The webbing looks a lot more robust but I do not like the clevis shackles that attach both sides of the leg loop, the waist belt and the bridge all in one point.

Are you telling me you haven't already bought the TreeJack harness yet?


I heard from my spies that you like to accumulate as much tree climbing swag as you possibly can, and have an unhealthy relationship with all of your different saddles.


Something about swimming in a pool filled with Treemotions and Sequoias and Glides and BFIIs, etc. a la Scrooge McDuck from "Duck Tales".

Seems to me you best slow down your ways, boy. Or give me one of those Treemotions you have.

My unhealthy nature of collecting gear is not a secret. I'm not going to buy the new saddle though. The treemotion really just can't be beat. The saddle they have out now is a cheaper (in cost not quality) more beginer model

I have only owned a treemotion, treeflex, ergovation, bfll and my first saddle, a weaver floating d with a bosun seat. In my defense, I have been climbing 3 some years and my skills are so outta control that I need two saddles when I climb to contain me.

You'll see soon enough ez, ask the spies, they know all.

keep the treemotion, and get a sequoia,those are the 2 i roll with, take the rigging paws of the ergovation and put them on the seqouia with a rope bridge of your chioce ....i use the seqouia more right now, i guess you can say im trying to preserve my treemotion
