I have my second hernia repair this January. Last one was done back in '98. I have had this hernia just over 2 years now. Does not bother me when climbing but feel the tightness occasionally on the fixed side. I pushed it off 2 times now and told them.do it after Christmas so I will be doing reports for a couple weeks when the weather is -50 again.

The mesh is polypropylene I believe, so you might say we have become one with the rope. : )
