Tree versitile saddle

I've got 10 mm HTP on my TM bridge currently, works at least as well as globe 3000, maybe better because its all poly. I preferred 16 strand on my cougar, wonder of core-less 16 strand would fit through the holes on TM?
I was starting to think I was the only one that didn't kike the tm bridg. I use the black buckingham rope bridge. Using a rope with a parallel core like htp isn't there a concern with the bend over the bridge ring like there is if u were using it with a friction saver?

The splice in a 16 strand requires a lot of bury, but it is normally done by removing the core and replacing it with itself.

And in an eye to eye scenario 16 strand requires some crossover from both buries, similar to a 12 strand eye and eye. I've done a few 16 strand bridges...

Tyler,
I like it this way it seems a little more "clean" if i could splice half way decent id like to put as many splices in the rope as possible. Of course after i adjusted the rope. I always am thinking of new ways this style of saddle could be rigged. Its kinda fun. For a while Matt had a thimble prussics as his positioning rings, thought that was a cool idea.

DSMc,
No offense at all its a good question. I saw Matt Cs video and thought it was a really cool idea. It was fun making it I also have another one Im working on. I really like some of the fancy tree versitiles saddles that Matt Cornell has made, complete with engraved leather and splices. I really like the treemotion and am looking getting one, but their 500$ this saddle cost me about 150$. I cant really speak to how it compares to other harnesses but i can say thats one reason Matt Cornell made his 1st one. He wanted more move ability in the tree.
These are really cool saddles, how they compare? Mostly in fit around the hips and lower ribs in a hanging position and when loaded with a heavy saw off one side. Also if the upper saddle does tend to rise it drags the leg loops into your ballz. A few of the new saddles have addressed these issues. Also knots need to be inspected constantly and should really only be in places they can be seen at a glance. The new connection methods are not perfect but definitely more streamlined.
