Tree Stuff let down

I have been dealing exclusively with treestuff.com for a while now and have never gotten anything but EXCEPTIONAL service. If I have a question and I need Luke I usually email him and am always responded to in a very timely fashion. If I actually had a gear question I guess I would ask to talk to Bonner anyway! Best prices, best selection and best customer service anywhere. Hands down!

Bix I dont agree with the order online thing. Last time I ordered from tree stuff (as well as another supplier the same day), both online orders, some greedy individual decided they needed my card number to buy stuff for them. Not saying it was treestuff or the other supplier that slipped up on security, but they were the only two I used the card at for months. Luckily my bank saw something was fishy and shut it down. It could have been really bad. I will call in everytime from now on. just sayin'

My original post. I was NOT placing blame on treestuff for a breech in my personal cc information. Notice I made 2 orders that day. I was simply stating I do not agree with Bix about putting CC information on the internet.

I got lucky in the whole deal my bank noticed something was wrong very early and started dening charges. I called them in relation to another matter regarding an equipment purchase, and that is when they asked me about the charges. They opened a fraud case to investigate and imagine if any of the charges had posted to my account they would have investigated further. A week or ten days later I got a letter stating that because the charges didnt post... Basically no harm no foul, but thats another rant.

By no means do I intend on not using TreeStuff for my equipment needs, I am just going to go at it differently with all my suppliers.

Deevo, understand that the US product may actually be different than the Canadian. Products need to be specifically CSA tested, approved and labeled as such because with many products the requirements are much more stringent than UL approved. As well the American warranty isn't valid in Canada as the dealer will not be reimbursed for warranty service. It's just the way things are distributed internationally. The reverse would be true in the states.

Thanks for going deeper for us Bonner. I switched to Treestuff some time ago and now my boss has switched over too. Once I'm actually on my feet and in the trees again I definitely will need some new Treestuff!

It's not that you were specifically allocating any responsibility to Treestuff or even the other unnamed company but that it raises a concern. From a business standpoint, I personally would address it. This is more as a preemptive action in the case that its taken by some that there may be a problem It's just good PR. Companies are constantly up against a very fickle consumer that makes it necessary to be managing perception as much as reality.

I remember back in 2010 when I could chat with Luke on FB chat. I too used to call just to catch up with Luke and he could place my order. Then FB chat couldn't work and email was your best bet.
When I call now I am excited to talk with who ever answers. Except that one time when Nick answered saying my name. I Must call to much....
I am excited to witness their continued growth. I will continue to support them.
Just need to get out to indy to spend a week. I owe them a week of work.

I actually got a call today from the president of husky Canada and he took my complaint and concerns pretty seriously and said the dealer I took it to should of did the warranty work. He will be addressing that with them, after all they are made in the same factory in Sweden. He said any other issues he said call him directly anytime which I thought was good. No matter what tree stuffs taking care of me! Don't mean to derail the thread!

I found out about tree stuff 3 years ago. They are the supplier.others try, they wiggle they waggle.
tree stuff comes thru every time for me and my company if there's a problem they fix it.

I had a bad experience with treestuff as well. Luke made it right. I agree though, talking to the same guy, I think his name was Chad, was pretty awesome. But it is the growth that keeps them alive, as well as kills em. Same struggle all small tree business go through, getting bigger means more failures/mishaps. If you stay small forever, its hard to keep going. Needless to say, I still rock treestuff. The free gloves/stickers and friendly individuals make it for me. What more can you ask for?

Treestuff is my go to period, Lindsie is my go to...she gets it right everytime....I too had to get used to the growing pains but nothing has changed...I get taken care of like family....lol

I recently had a Treestuff snafu. I go back to the beginning of Sherrill, not to mention Treestuff, and saw the changes at Sherrill, and was not treated in the most respectful way by the Treestuff person after the wrong order was sent to me and I called them (the lady that took my order was very nice). Turns out they had my order confused with someone else's and THEY emailed the order and I phoned mine in. Therefore they thought they had proof I was in the wrong with the resultant wrong order sent out ("computers don't lie", the lady told me). All I really wanted was the return postage paid just for the principle of the thing. Later all I wanted was just for her to admit she was wrong.

So I just emailed Luke and like the stand up guy I know him to be, he apologized profusely but also told me to just keep the hundred dollar plus rope and he will send me out another immediately...got it the NEXT DAY. I really love this company and hope they retain the traits that got them to this upwardly mobile company they are today. Thanks Luke.

The only bad thing about Treestuff.com that I've experienced is that they run out of stock of some items sometimes, and sometimes I want those items that are out of stock! Come on guys, wtf?!

Jk! TS rocks!
