This is an unsavoury subject, but an important one - unfortunately the chip box is often the only answer. I have worked with crews with women, and they never used to eat or drink properly to avoid any urge. Thats what they told me. Thats not healthy.

There are regulations concerning such things. So how do companies approach the issue? Got any pictures of your 'portaloo' Removal wizard? Sounds like a good idea.

Slinking off into the clients bushes or messing up their bathroom isn't really good PR.

In one of Kurt Vonnegut's books there was a story thread about 'taking a leak'...it had something to do with a mirror...it's been 30+ years since I read KV.

Anyway...chip trucks are for liquids not solids...unless it is a dire emergency. Being discrete is important, there's no need to make a production about the issue...gotta look up too :)

If a porta pot is needed I just saw these options:

been thinking about it and my toilet just went in the house. I might just bring a big chip box in my bathroom. That would really be like a cat box.

Honestly though, as hot as a load of chips get, anything harmful is going to be burned. I think what is really disgusting is our habit of pooping in our water supply. Doesnt anyone else find that just wrong? who started that? than we add chemicals to the water to clean it up at great expense. It causes algal blooms that kill all the fish, it backlogs and it goes everywhere so it really spreads disease fast. There are a lot of moving parts in the cleanup system and they breakdown or get over worked leaving us all vulnerable.

Its backwards thinking. Wood chips are exactly where it should go. Let the worms and fungi deal with it and lets keep our drinking water clean!!
Its basic boyscouts, Dont number one or two in the WATER!

I see a lot of posts on "gardening" forums about mulch and free chips from tree companies.

Maybe I should post a hyperlink to this thread.

In case some gardeners wonder why some chips are stuck together.

I saw Dirty Jobs episode that showed them turning road kill into mulch. Did any of ya'll catch that? It seemed kinda odd/unsanitary to me. They just chunked the critters into the mulch and turned it with a bobcat periodically.
