Tree Frog method on DRT?

That would be SRT , it becomes DdRT if you climb both legs of the rope. The DRT thing is new to me, I've referred to that as being double-crotched, but usually with both ends of the same rope. I've never had a reason to climb on two diferrent ropes at the same time, sounds like a rock climbing thing.

Depending on where you live and what you do, the second rope would be for backup/fall_protection. May be coming to a worked tree near you eventually...

We were just a few signatures away from having that system here in Ontario in 2004. Luckily an Industry commitee was able to make some concessions that allow us to still use conventional DdRT. However one such concession, based on the fact that the Ministry of Labour will not pass a DdRT system as adequate Fall Protection, is that as an Industry we will try to find a better way.....
