Tree Flex?

Geeezss Paolo,

I've seen the new Cresto saddle today. I hope it's not the final product of the Treeflex you came up with. If it is there is not much left from the original design. I can imagine you are very p issed about what they came up with.

Hey treespotter, I'm sorry I just have to ask, what is 'Creto'?

Oh yeah what about, 'Daisyworld'? The black and white daisies?

Sorry Axe
After reading your post I saw I misspelled the brand name of the manufacturer.
I will edit my post

Thanks for that - I appreciate it. I have just got people out of bed to explain this.

This harness you have seen may resemble a treeflex, but rest assured IT IS NOT!

I have yet to receive and OK the final production batch. Therefore, the harness you have seen is nothing that has been cleared by us as a TreeFlex, as it is not currently distributed for sale.

Rest assured that pics of TreeFlex will be posted here and on my site when it is available. It is true to the original design.

Thanks
P.

Sorry Paolo but I think Cresto thought otherwise. This one is sold to me as a Treeflex by Poel bosbouw.

Here is one picture of the of the crappy sharp edged buckle. I bet that webbing doesn't last very long.

And this one is from the bridge. The protective tubing is too wide and the webbing underneath is stitched only once. The stitching is probably made from super Kevlar so they can work with only one single stitching row. By the way, the D-shackles were not tightened. It took no effort what soever to unscrew the shackles.

I hope I'm not speaking out of term here, but I would suggest we allow Paolo a little time to sort this out and get some clarity on this situation before expecting him to comment further. Do you no what I mean. We shouldn't speculate as to what is going on here. Thanks

This is very important:

1. What colour is the 'TreeFlex' that you have ?

2. Have you paid for it?

3. What does the paragraph say with my name in it please?

Thank you.
Paolo

We have an account over there so they will send me the bill for it. As you probably know I am the treegear gadget freak numero uno in Holland so I don't know yet what it's gonna cost.

5 years after the development of the Sky Max Cresto is here with a new design of a climbing saddle for the tree care.
Paolo Bavaresco made the drawings for this saddle that initially was developed by a physiotherapist.

I've done my best to translate the text to the letter so the sentences are maybe not as fluent English as the should be.

Take a look at the pics.

Just to keep the record straight, that harness is a pre-production prototype from 6 months ago. I can't begin to tell you how much has changed.

TreeFlex has not been OKd for sale! The harness you have is not the final version.

I will contact you through your website Wolter.

Auch, that sucks. I bought it as the final product at Poel.
I've tried it on today at the climbing course (see attachment) and hope that the REAL FINAL product has at least wider/better padded legstraps, better buckles (not as sharp), modified D-rings (that will stay in place and not flip back all the time), better tubing on the bridge and accessorie loops that are more easy accessible.

I'm taking it out of service and will return it to the reseller to wait for YOUR OK'd PRODUCT.
