That will be awesome! Thanks jimmy

Oh man, indeterminate slip time? You got a 'call'?!

Wha-wha-wha sez me, 'cuz I got in queue with the rest of you for my second TFx on 5/30. And a whole passel of ISC goodies.

One for the day gig, and now one for nights and weekends!

Still waiting on mine, seems like theyve(baileys) changed the delivery date like 5 times.I tried the Petzl its a no go for me.Its really a nice lightweight design-but I need more room in the leg strap ares, just didnt like how it fit.My lead climber loves it,im mean really loves it.I purchased the shoulder straps with the croll too.I think he used that for 3 days and havent seen it since.Hes like 130, so he just anchors a pulley and up he goes.I also figured out a way with a swivel to attach the croll to the tree motion.Hopefully I get the Tree Flex soon but at this point im not crossing my fingers.

Jimmy, mine came today! If they all shipped at the same time, yours should be there any day now.

I'm keeping my lips sealed about my impressions until I get the chance to hang in it. It's 11pm and 95 degrees outside, so I don't think I'll be climbing in it for the next couple of days.

Time to get an AC unit!!!

love

I havn't been able to get a whole lot of time in mine yet either, we have been doing a lot of bucket work and ground work. I'm still working on finding the best fit for me.

So far I'm diggin' it though! Seems to be a well thought out design, not just made for gear-heads.

Well finally got the Tree Flex,I tried it on and quickly handed it to one of my climbers(I actually already test drove one prior for a couple of weeks).I think its a well thought out design and seems sturdy. My complaints first-I hate the bridge it hurky jerky and not smooth at all.Its also really short and slides over the clevis and kinda gets stuck, not much mobility with the bridge. The lanyard d rings move to much. But the thing I dont like the most is the legstraps seem to crush my groin and my climbers as well.I asked his opinion without ever giving mine and he said it was harsh on that area.Well its not all bad the backpad is awesome really smart design,I cannot say enough good things about the back pad.Honestly I wish every harness would go to a similiar design in the backpad. The srt attachments is good but kinda bulky and probably contributes to crowding problems decribed earlier. The gear loops seemed to be positioned in the right spots and the hand saw attachment ring is perfect. The Petzl well fit like a petzl, you know small. It was really crowded,it was unbearable(but hey im 200 pounds). The srt is really hard to attach to,but not as bulky.I wish they would have copied the treeflex on the back pad, kinda thin and rides higher. The the carittol attachments dont really hold them in place except for the larger size.I liked the bridge more than the tree flex though.Another negative is you have to buy their $140.00 setup for the croll attachment. The rings are really cool design and lots of gear loops. Also has a handsaw attachment thats in a good spot. The climber I gave this saddle to loves it and doesnt have one complaint-but hes 140 pounds. The Tree Motion Is my favorite but ive been wearing it for a year so Im kinda bias.I wish the backpad was smaller and padded like the Tree Flex. The caritools dont stay anchored very long either. The elastic that held the leg straps and the plastic adjusters ripped off really fast and is impossible to get more-well almost.Seems to be some excessive wear on the webbing but thats documented and I think theyll fix that(or at least thats what I heard). As far as Srt,I just clip my croll directly to the swivel on my bridge,no biggy.I love the bridge It has the greatast range of motion and really helps me from twisting my back. The extra lanyard d rings come in handy to.But that bridge is awesome, granted it took a little while to get use to.I love the versatility of the attachment points and how you can totally custamize it.The tree motion leg straps dont really cause me much problems but considering it does not have a built it srt attachment might be the reason-more room- or the fact that the legstraps hang so low due to problem desribed earlier-thak God.I think all 3 saddles have something to offer but are definetly not for everyone.I wish I could switch a few things between the 3 and then Id have the perfect saddle but im sure nobody else would like it the way I would. To each his own, they are all advanced to what we climbed on a year or to ago.I'll post more in a couple of weeks Im sure my guys will start to love each saddle and be unwilling to trade.

Paolo shared s solution to the bridge cover with me. Take a length of 7/16" KMIII sheath and slip it over the webbing of the TF. It may take a little shoe-horning but it stays put.

A habit that is a carryover from previous harnesses is to tighten the waist first then the legs. The way to keep the TF adjusted low is to step in, snug up the waist just enough to keep it up...but real loose.

Work on getting the leg straps pretty snug when you put on the harness. When mine goes on I make the legstraps snug...they find a good place and are always comfy.

Then, snug up the waist.

This keeps the waist belt low which seems to keep the leg straps in the right place.

Keep tweaking...it has always taken me some time to work out the fit on any new harness.

They are really wide and bulky and leave no room regardless of what we have tried.I think my climber wants to send it back.He didnt really say anything at first because i spent so much on it,but he hates it I think.Anybody wanna trade for a tree motion, the tree flex has just a couple of hours.Trust me alot of other people love this harness just a not for us.

I'm having similar sizing issues jimmy. I've actually been climbing in my treemotion a lot more, it just seems much more comfortable. I can't keep the saddle low. The second I hang in it it rises up, it tends to twist on my pelvis as well, more so than regular saddles. I was actually thinking about selling the flex for a new petzl. I'm going to mess with the flex a bit more. I want lime hell for it to work out well but I keep finding myself turning back to the motion

As far as the bridge goes, I hated mine. Way loose. I made my own on the first day.

Yeah I wanted it to work out to,but i still want to have kids as well.Maybe I got the wrong size or something-what are the specs for someone to wear a medium.Im 6-3 @ 200 and Josh(my climber)is 5-11 @ 180.

Tom, this is exactly how I keep my TreeFlex low and my legstraps snug, and they are always comfy too.

I'm 5'-10" and 180lbs and my med. saddle fits great.

On another note, Paolo I was wondering if the bosum seat attachment for the TreeFlex is available yet?

hey jimmy, im 5'8, 185 pounds, i have a really small waist, i usually wear a 32 inch waist pant size, but even those need a belt here and there, i have a size small saddle, im still confused where to wear this thing, the lower the more comfortable for me, i usually have the srt attachment right above my manhood, is this too low?

jimmy, i think it maybe where we are wearing the saddle that makes it a bit uncomfortable, at least thats what im hoping, i really like the saddle concepts and when i can get it to stay low, it is comfortable, maybe i need but implants
