Tree Austria Duo 2: Anyone?

I'm considering purchasing a harness for one of my employees. Since I'm a business owner, I don't want to buy one more T.M. that will need to be rebuilt for 80% the price of a new T.M. (in about 2 years or so).

However, my employee and I like having D-rings on the hip and legs. So, to my knowledge, the Tree Austria Duo 2 is the only one that has that. And that harness looks like it will last 10 years!

Has anyone here tried one or own one?

I have one, and I love it for it's ease when taking it on and of. It has great support for my back and is "stiff" enough to hang heavy gear and saws on. So in my opinion its a great harness for takedowns. But I find hanging in it from the central ring uncomfortable over time. But adding the extra seat improves comfort great.

I think Tree Austrias are amazing. I've climbed in the duo, the ta3 prototype, and the production ta3. All three are amazing. A friend of mine has had the Duo for like 5 years and it barely shows any wear. Super light, super durable. You really can't beat it... well, with the exception of not being able to relpace the bridge.

Ha! Lots of us are looking for new saddles.

I like the durability side of it. I may even go with the Tree Austria 3...

Honey Brothers has them really cheap.

Hey Jamin, Wesspur has them for $360 shipped free. Honeys would go very close to costing you that with shipping & currency conversion.

I think it's super comfortable. It's so light, it's seriously like wearing a pair of underwear. I've never actually climbed in a tree motion, so I can't make that comparison for you.
