Traversing

Hi buzzers,

I'm looking for info about traversing, anything really, just trying to amass a database for all things traverse.

Techniques, tips, setting lines remotely. What devices work best? What gear (pulleys, grapnels, etc)? SRT? dDrt? DRt? Links to videos?

What say you?

The Mumford magnets seem the way to go for serious traversing.

Sweet video Eric, thanks for posting that. Answered a lot of my questions right there. I've never actually seen the grapnel on action so that was good to see.

Kevin, yes I've heard the Richards magnets are the bees knees, haven't picked up a set yet though.

Anyone else have some info?

Moss better chime in here. Every group climb he sets up a 4,073' traverse. He's slick with the grapnel though.

Jon, we're going to do some cool traverses from where we climbed last year! Plus that speedline we got rained out of.
