Yessir, it is. If you soom into the stick, you can see where I added a hydraulic multiplier onto the bucket cylinder circuit. That’s the right joystick handle itself going left and right, and I set up a 3 position switch (momentary/off/on) on that joystick. With the grapple on, the heel isn’t really a primary function, so the switch toggles the joystick between heel up/down and grapple rotate L/R. I usually latch it in the on position to keep it on rotate until I want the heel. I did beef up the yoke on the heel after a while.I like the offset and heel, your design?
I really appreciate that! Thank you. It’s funny because I went to my local dealer and the grapple was on at the time. All the sales people were loving on it. Maybe there is something there. I’ve seen other brands that are so tall that there isn’t much room to lift anymore after you’ve grabbed the piece. Seems like just a little more engineering can solve that one…I hated my rigid for the longest time, I was so used to dangles but after I finally got the hang of it I really like it now. There were some exciting times near the chipper though. That looks like a really well thought out set up. Hope they sell like hot cakes
I would have made one if I would have thought of it back in the Day
personally would love to have a dangle and Ridged grappleI really appreciate that! Thank you. It’s funny because I went to my local dealer and the grapple was on at the time. It’s in the mid 40” range. I’ll have to put a tape on it as it’s been so long since I ordered it and I just can’t remember.@oceans How wide does the rotator grapple open whip? What’s the capacity it can hold?
Do you have a stump planer attachment as well For your mini ex?It’s in the mid 40” range. I’ll have to put a tape on it as it’s been so long since I ordered it and I just can’t remember.
Yessir. Quite a nice tool combination since you can switch back to a bucket for tracing smaller roots, backfilling and grading.Do you have a stump planer attachment as well For your mini ex?
What kind of grapple do your run on the chisel?Mini ex was perfect for this Gray pine removal, steeper than it looks and the limbs are 20’+

Just measured and it’s 50” tip to tip. I’ve held pieces over 1,000 for sure but I don’t have any data to provide hard numbers.@oceans How wide does the rotator grapple open whip? What’s the capacity it can hold?
Looks like you have a 45 degree offset as well? That’s the jam.
