Tracks and Wheels!!

LOL!!!

Okay Tom, I'm new to this forum and not an arborist by trade, but I looked up "tracks and wheels" and discovered that they are different types of tree stub and branch grinders.

Had no idea!

I also looked up brass ring too! hahaha
It's a prize!!!

To make this post a little more interesting I thought i'd give an interesting fact about myself....as my name suggests I enjoy doing bonsai. Not just in small containers, but also on my bushes and smaller trees (Japanese Maple) as well. I haven't perused the rest of the forums yet so I'm not sure if there is a forum dedicated to bonsai, but if there is I will definitely be spotted there in the future.

I also just wanted to say thanks for such a warm welcome to the community. I really appreciate all the advice and responses I've received on my post about my sick tree "Stubby."

Plastic pipe and hose are interesting track materials. I could see this being good for replacing a wheelbarrow or dolly on long drags. Like multi tree back yard hilly jobs.

Or concrete and construction. I could even see it working for moving disabled people to previously inaccesable places.

I'm wondering about flexible hose that can turn corners. Pressurizing flat hose for light weight - lots of variations and applications. Why doesn't this exist already? Or what am I missing? I could see one guy pushing a ton to the chipper with one trip. Minimal ground damage as well. Maybe it works too good and it would be dangerous without brakes and a speed limiter? Or too much set up to make it a time saver? Derailments?

Light portable rail systems. Hmmm.
