My wife and I noticed that/them tonight while we were running and guessed that the red was Mars.

I walked out of Home Depot as the moon was rising. What a site!

About a half hour later I looked up and saw something very close to the moon. It was located at about the four o-clock position but didn't look red at all. It looked bright white. I was wondering if it was the space station. but I don't think so, it was stationary with the moon for about a half hour.

Well at 6:16AM the moon is still bright! It's in the high 20's out there now and a clear sky as I was bringing in some firewood. We are 100% wood heat and it really is a nice connection to what the weather is doing. Right now Mars is about 10 degrees below the moon and to the right.

Missed it do to the clouds and hoping to see it tonight and the comet will be a cool backyard deal with the kids and dogs. Thanks MB for the info hmmmmmmmmm maybe a night climb will be in affect if it is clear.

We had a clear night last night and as i was plugging in the ol xmas lights, I noticed that bright spot. Cool, I had no idea I was looking at the place where martians lived. Sweet!

Thanks MB. I was wondering what that bright spot was under the moon last night. My son thought it was a flying saucer, but I didn't think so.
