Today's Messy Work

Today\'s Messy Work

Here is a job I was on repairing the Cable and Fiber Optic lines that were downed by this nice Red Oak. Would you believe that it didn't break any fiber?

Today\'s Messy Work

Sorry about the slight blurriness, baby Dalton split a can of formula onto the digital camera, and I guess I havent completely gotten it all out yet.

Another good shot here.

Today\'s Messy Work

They just leave all that beautiful firewood there for months at a time sometimes before contractors pick it up off the side of the road.

Re: Today\'s Messy Work

All the respect for you guys in America. Almost every photograph I see on this forum has somthing to do with POWERLINES. I think the treedudes in Holland have to count their blessings for having all of that infrastructure underground (well at least if you are not a transplanter). /forum/images/graemlins/icon14.gif

Re: Today\'s Messy Work

Re: Today\'s Messy Work

Who for, and where do you work? And I do think the ground man was running the show, he was pretty much calling the shots while the bucket man was working on gettin er dun.

Re: Today\'s Messy Work

Re: Today\'s Messy Work

i cleared a black oak from a fiber optis 2 years ago. it was 3 feet or so where it took the lines down. they didnt have to splice either but they were sure nervous having a 046 that close to their beloved fiber! that log is still lying in the ditch after 2 years!
