The Mini-loader thread

Dave at TNT has good info on mini's. I used his helpfull posts and others info..
Got a wheeled Thomas 25G. '01 or '02 model with some small repairs. The forks work great for wide open spaces.
Got TNT's BMG for narrow backyard access. Works great.

I have a bobcat MT52. They are around 2600 lbs without a bucket, but for me it has been the perfect little machine as it is only three feet wide. For now I load the wood in the bucket. Eventually I will be getting a grapple from Dave at TNT. It also has helped me build the landscaping side of my business.
 
The platform is a bit of a pain as I bent the wheel shaft and was digging in the dirt everytime I would backup. But I am going to modify it and put some kind of hooks on the platform to chain it to the tie down holes on the machine and take out the wheel shaft altogether.
 
I bought a Boxer 320 with trax from Dave and I can't rave enough about it. For the price, you will not find anything in our business that will out work a mini with his grapple. We bought great trucks this year, chippers...but the mini was the biggest surprise of all! What a great investment. It payed for itself in weeks for us and I am now going to add another model this Spring. Thanks Dave for the great info to help knudge me the right way!!!

Will ya be triing the Ramrod??? There is a dealer out on 537 just before New Eygpt. Just saying close parts and support.
 
Never heard of it? I will probably just ask Dave what I should buy and go with that. He was right last time.

Yea Dave would know best, what runs his grapple best. I could of swore he used to use Ramrods all the time. I'm sure the pic of the cutie with her leg hoched up on the grapple is connected to a white wheeled ramrod.

AAhhhh yes, the workshop, parts, and support. This is the kicker for Mark. The ramrod dealer is only like 10mins from his shop.

Ramrod isn't that great, they haven't broken any laws of physics. Comparing apples (Boxer) to what seems to be apples (Ram Rod) the Ram Rod lifts 100lbs more than the Boxer with regards to rated capacity at 50% tipping load, big deal. I don't have much faith in Ram Rods numbers.

Mix and match statistics and you end up with nothing more than drivel. The Boxer lifts higher.

I can make up numbers and rating systems to, but what's the point.
