The latest Matt Cornell harness

If it was meant to be, it would have worked out.
It is funny as the exact same thing has happened to me twice in as many weeks now with this harness.

It'll happen, just not atm
Sorry bro, but as I said I am down to my last MCRS, and it is looking pretty ragged. Ever thought of having someone with the proper skills build you a set of back and leg pads? The rest is easy.

I have a size 2 with new suspension cordage. The pads have seen a couple years of solid production, but that gives it a beautiful feel. I’ll let that one go to the right home.

@rico , I hate to hear your stash has dwindled. One day I may be willing to part with my size 1, and I’ll let you know when I am. Right now it’s not ready to leave the nest.

For all MCRS users-

If you install webbing against the waist belt and threaded through the gray webbing, you can place clamping style storage hooks anywhere, instead of being limited to the gray vertical webbing alone, or some sort of round cordage. Crappy pic of it, but you can see it with the kilos.

Cool idea with the webbing, and a great option for those who carry a fair amount of gear with them. I am a very spartan climber and carry minimal gear so the MCRS has plenty of storage options for me.

Your gold dude, not an issue.
Pretty confident I have the tools and skills to build some form of replica, wanted to be lazy 1st and build the pads up 1st to make sure I was on the right track before dumping time and materials into making the pads as well.

I'm hoping to rebuild one with webbing much more like a treemo

Nice post and pic. Um, perhaps I'm not the only one, what are the advantages of a MC saddle? Light weight? Cost? Freedom of movement? Adjustability?

For me the MCRS has a flow and feel like no other saddle I have ridden. Plus is fits my body as if it were tailor made. It’s kinda uncanny how good it fits me. As far as weight goes it definitely isn’t light by todays standard, and cost wise its more expensive than some and cheaper than some.

I love how simple the design is. I am also a fan on leather goods, and the way they break in. I love that the ropes look easy to replace, and that it is a rope harness. It's a work of art, and I would love to try one. I have a feeling I'd be upset if I couldn't buy afterwards.
