The latest Matt Cornell harness

I just reread this whole thread and realized Mowerr has dropped off the face of the earth...Has anyone around here heard from him? I'm worried about that boy.. For realz....
I'm doing pretty good, thank you! At the end of winter I started a new job with a crew that is much farther away than I would usually like but it's well worth it because the crew is all certified and much safer than any place I have worked before. The owner has a great rep. And is mentoring/ training me in all aspects of arboriculture.
I've tried to pull away from the internet and devote most of my free time to any training/courses he wants me to take as well as practice new, old or things I am not good at yet rec climbing on the weekends. We are very busy and So far it's been great and I'm doing pretty good, Thanx for asking Rico!
How are you doing!?

Glad to hear your doing well homie.. Sounds like the new job is pretty awesome except for the driving....

Same old same old here...Doing my thing, but working alone when possible......

I hadn't heard of them either until I was talking to Matt about the harness and he told me where Endors is and I realized I just about drove right past it a few times (driving 30 / 77 interchange) the previous week. (Visiting parents - I grew up in N. Canton...)

Ive tried something today ! Yeah TM style d-rings, it takes less space and work great! 97781926_666590417528181_1378867033831112704_n.jpg
edit : its a bad idea i did a crane job today and the red rings moved foward into the webbing.... i need to find a way to fix them in place... ive tried them in front of the webbing but it aint right.

What keeps the large ring from pulling forward and out of the small ring when the bridge is not loaded?
Ive tried it slowly in the parc this afternoon, as soon theres a load on the bridge the waist rope lock the d-rings! And using only Ds your pulling foward so they also lock before getting to the webbing loops. Ive tried a few configuration and doing a knot on the d-ring was taking to much space for my transporter to open. I might attach the red ring with throwline to be sure they always stay in position... More climbing tommorow!! ill let you guys know!

I worked on mine today but still not happy with it. How long did it take for your leg pads to not feel like they were gonna castrate you? Super different than the MCRS. I can't seem to get the leg pads in a position that I like. They aren't riding flat on my thighs.

I like my leg pad loose and low. Climb with it a bit the leather will take form.

Can Steve or jumbo post some pics of the leg pads? I noticed from Matts vid that they look to be very different than the leg pads on the MCRS, which I freakin love......

I will later today. I haven't made up my decision but I think there are a few things I don't really like. I can't say for sure but i'll know soon.

Thanks Steve. Love to see some pics and hear your thoughts after you have had a chance to thoroughly evaluate the new saddle. Gonna be awful tough to beat the OG MCRS me thinks!

Prelim. Not finished
