The latest Matt Cornell harness

Just wanted to let folks know I found another OG MCRS, and judging by the pic I got it looks to have low miles on it and be in great shape..... It is headed my way and should be here in the next week...As there is not enough time left in my climbing life to possibly wear out the MCRS's I already have, I grabbed it so that someone here can find out what all the fusss is about...Once it shows up, I know it is as described, and is good-to-go I will be posting it up on TreeBay for the price I payed for it.... $200 shipped....Stay tuned...

What... do you smell those things? Like the smell of fear of the prey?

Not till I get it put together. There isn't much to see now. Just some old school tree man saddle parts. I like it because it makes me feel like i'm being taken back to the origins of modern tree work. I feel like it connects me with the old timers and their metal bump caps and 3 strand flip lines. Not that I could even be close to as tough as nails as the old timers were, I feel like the leather pads and the design is totally utilitarian and isn't full of the modern space age materials and fancy thing-a-majiggers. I will be putting some modern stuff on there but for the most part I want it to be functional and make a statement of bare bones putting shit on the ground kind of climber. I will likely keep my TM incase I ever climb in a comp that requires it. (not even likely)-even though I cam one key stroke away from signing up for the charlotte. Luckly they asked me to help with AR before I followed through and embarrassed myself climbing against the kids. I think @rico can probably appreciate what i'm talking about as much as anyone out there. I'm pretty certain I could never even come coast to the west coast high climbers but i'd sure like to give it a try someday.

Wow, the manufacturing of the backpad looks top notch Steve. I can't wait to see the finish product and hear your thoughts after you have had some time in it....

I just reread this whole thread and realized Mowerr has dropped off the face of the earth...Has anyone around here heard from him? I'm worried about that boy.. For realz....
