Great photos of the kids Scotty. They look comfortable climbing. Keep them safe.

That one was below the belt, Pal. You probably taunt toddlers and little old grannies into foot races, too. Pickin on a newbie..You should be ashamed!
The reality is, you have to come down SOMEtime...And I'm extremely patient!!

Scotty,

Great kid picts. Bet you felt great. Can't wait to show my daughters.

Question for ya. Do your kids prefer to ascend and hang free in the tree?

I'm introducing mine to work closer in-and-on the branches and am meeting with resistance. They'd rather foot lock than scramble. I think its the transition from being suspended to back on their legs.

Our kids are pretty ok with doing things the right way, but they free climb constantly. (And before anyone jumps on my case, we all free climbed when we were kids!)
But when we're hanging out with the OUTCCTT crew, it's so much more fun for them because you can do so much more in the tree.
You can't leap a 15' span without a rope. And you certainly can't appreciate your descent as much when you're scrabbling compared to a nice smooth rappel.

Jim my 7yr old is just getting to want to get in the tree itself but her 9yr old friend is now scrambling prety good both have been climbing this year only.......
Be safe be happy Scotty
