THE GREATNESS THAT IS ME!!!

Haha, Eric is so obvious when he's trolling. Might as well have a big sign saying 'I'M EKKA, AND I HATE MB!'

Even if true Ed, MB's love of himself more than makes up for it!

So MB,
How many people were running cameras?

How many cameras?

ti seemed like a LOT of shots and agles.

I bet you spent some time on that one.

are you shooting digital format or did you have to capture all that footag from tape?

danielson

Danielson..go back and read MB's first post. Gerry Beranek, pro logger, arborist, writer, and photographer, (both still and video), did the honors.....

wish he'd come up and shoot us...he could get a lot more old school at work....one handing, you name it....heck, mebbe even a tad of free climbing.....

...uhohhhhhh

Roger, I have dibs on bringing MB out to the West Coast!
The agenda is to show him a great time, maybe climb a few giants, and eat some good food-

oh and no hating

I think you misread Roger Frans. I think he was offering to put on a display of his own old school talents for Gerry's cameras.

You gota love this thread. Old school rules!

I'm still laid up from tissue and nerve damage in the old foot that got crushed. Doc said it could be another month or more before I can put the spurs on. Dang, I'm getting anxious.

Roger, I'd love to come up and catch you and the crew in action. Someday maybe in a big fir. I'll tell you, going to see Butch was a great time for me and I'd like to go visit some more folks.

Ya gotta come up when the Deming Logging Show is goin' on Gerry... and see the Hot Saws too. We have a good time at the campground. Roger was there this year and snapped some great pics of my saw and other competitions.

Butch can come too!

Gary

Roger is the debonair photographer extraordinaire. He cracked me up at the ITCC master's challenge by just putting on his helmet, donning his camera, and stepping into the ring like he belonged there. Nobody questioned him being in there and he spent the whole event running around taking pictures.

Speaking of which, let's see some of those shots Roger!

i try to advocate only safe/accepted policy; not grey line. BUT; 1 handing to push something off of you correctly, can save your butt by flexing stronger hinge for less impact into line; and perhaps more importantly give a climber 'feel'/ feedback for what is really, really going on; like no other method. Until you, yourself are grey enough to make such grey line decisions, perhaps ya shouldn't(but, then how else do you get there?). But for sure ya shouldn't shake your finger at one who knows. That is no way to step inside their head and see what they know; or get them to share more of it.

Thank you for those profound words of wisdom.

I am now an enlightened arborist.
