The accender of my dreams!

OK, Maybe it would have taken me a day and a half instead of two days ddrt.

After hitting the ground I still had energy to drag brush.

;-)

I tried SRT for quite some time and never ever had the feeling it gave time advantage. It's a different approach to get from A to B but nevertheless the pruning absorps most of the time.

Some straight up and down dead wooding will def give you some more speed compared to DRT, but no big difference.

But that's what I have experienced and maybe my DRT skills are way better compared to my SRT skills. I won some national TCC just DRT so that kind of qualifies me as a fast climber ;-)

Never ever did a TCC SRT style......maybe that will happen some day, but for now I'm more into setting it l up and being a head technician for the TCC's.

But let's get back to the original topic, allways nice to derail a little ;-)

So you gonna allow srt in comps? ;-)

I tried to get it allowed last TCC over here, but the chairman didn't agree.....
Cause of the ISA rules and regs ;-)

Only thing we could allow right now on the TCC is the IRATA or industrial SRT standard, cause that is a proven method with full backup from the gear manufactures.
The uni and ropewrench didn't have enough tests and still not certified to use over here ;-)

But in the near future they probably will be allowed !
