I bid a crane job the other day when the homeowner said something that alarmed me. He asked if we were gonna flip the crane over on his house while screaming at each other! He said this jokingly but I told him that I dont quite follow. He then made a reference about what he had seen on tv about loggers and arborists thanks to ax men and saw for hire. I said that saw for hire was everything that any professional is NOT and was the worst display of our industry!!! I wish someone would have another show that would display a correction in the minds of reality tv watchers!

Most people that are new to seeing a climber getting after it 20 feet over their house think we have some sort of death wish. I don't die so I get paid. Got to love it.

We had a reality show contact us last year. We passed.

worked for a guy that dumped allot of money into cameras, film crew and a director and all that crap for a reality show. had no money for bonuses though of course. when we did not want to sign our model releases he threatened to fire us and put out a casting call, should have walked then, but I've got a family to feed. wish he would have focused on being a tree service instead of a wanna be TV star, maybe we all could have all done better. try doing your job with three guys looking through cameras standing in the drop zone.

Its not reality once the cameras show up, in my opinion Everyone seems to act alot different than they normally do.I cant stand made for tv drama thats got fake all over it.Besides we face the reality of doing tree work every day,I dont need to watch someone else.

It's still reality, it's just highly disturbed. Definitely not worth watching once people start behaving for the camera.

yeah and the helmet cams were a trip. did he ever do anything with the footage? do you still work there?
