thanks Todd and Mahk

Just wanted to thank these guys for their presentations at the show.excellent job! answered any and all questions with class and were very approachable with follow up questions. I came home and made up a rope guide like Mahk had and ascended into a tree for the first time SRT with a pantin and hand ascender all backed up by my DRT climbingline tied to the single with a butterfly. I couldn't get over how quick I was up the tree. Their presentation was done so well I left the show anxious to try out this new to me method. Also had the hitch climber set up and loved it. Should also thank Gary for putting up with us looking over his shoulder while splicing at the Sherrill booth. Been all over Nick's posts too busy absorbing all we can about splicing. Anyway thanks to all for sharing!!!
PS One of the TM guys was using a ropeman in conjunction with the hitch climber and for the life of me I can't remember what he was doing - anyone know what the ehck I am talking about? Oltimers set in.

I second Mahk on his presentation on ascending!I was hoping to talk with him afterwards but didn't get a chance. Thanks for some very insightful information on backing up the ascenders!!I must say that I also enjoyed the presentation by Ed Carpenter and his sister(the doctor)on ergonomics!Seems like only yesterday that we watched an 18 year old Ed back the chip truck in the yard and watched him carry some boxes from the chipper truck to his monster truck only later to find out the customer had "tipped" us with several cases of beer that we never saw...

Thanks for the kind words. Doing demo's with energetic and responsive crowds is alot of fun, especially when the students are asking very inteligent questions. TCI is always a blast.
