lanyard for work positioning or
2-in-1 if that's the case or
flipline if it's steel core
but never sissy strap or chicken strap

spikes are spikes or gaffs, not climbers which are people who climb trees

I'd like to know where 'spar' came from,
I use 'spar' for a stem over 10' tall with the limbs and top cut off,
If it's shorter than 10', I call it a stump
If the top was broken off by high winds or other natural event then the 'spar' is called a 'snag'
If the broken top is hung up and dangling either on itself or in another tree I call that a 'widowmaker'

Been told it was a "sissystrap"

I heard someone call it that and it kind of ticked me off, it's like saying if you use your lanyard you're being a sissy, that's crazy.

Why even bother posting such drivel? Preposterous, posted out of pure obsession to remain the village genius. This isnt TH and you are amongst proper people, I call these valuable and life saving, plus work positioning items;

Please do display your professionalism in future, $hit belongs in the toilet. Is that perhaps where you store yours? 3 Hail Marys for you.

And this ain't AS. Sorry i find the angry fire in your words more dis-tracking than the friendly offering of humor in his. Kind of in the midst of all our studies and shaking hands with forces; an understanding of the Dyer focus of intent seeing more clearly the forces in each. Personally i think in the midst of all the seriousness; a lil'humor is healthy to cool the cranium. i think most/ if not all know when to take the man seriously; and just respect his contributions over all.
