Terminix

I was working in a Locust tree today and I could smell, what seemed to smell like "Icy Hot." At least that's what I thought I smelt because I was working near a rather large assisted living home. Basically, it sort of had a mint smell.

After about a half hour of wondering what that was I thought I should look up wind... duh!

I saw a Terminix truck about 100 yards away. I then noticed the applicator frantically trying to get his work done (since a storm was rolling in). He didn't have a respirator mask on, so I thought I shouldn't bother to worry.

My question is... Should I worry about what I was breathing?

It was rather strong in odor and I was breathing it for a long time. --At least I thought it was a long time.

Might not hurt to knock at the door of the property that was being treated, to ask them in a friendly way, if they have an invoice, showing what was being applied.

Just because the terminix technician ,wasn't wearing ppe during the application, doesn't mean that he was applying correctly. He apparently already seriously miscalculated for drift, but kept on gunning while his product was overspraying, so you might not want to use his judgement as a guide to your own safety
