Tenex Chainsaw Lanyard

I dont know, but it's enough to break the fall of a dropped 200t. If it was a real big chunk of wood, I have faith it would break off.

I haven't used a webbing style 2-in-1 lanyard in a long time. I miss that thing...being able to let it hang for a second while you do something else. I always end up nicking 'em though. Been using the black Stihl short version lately.

Break-away: using the gear loop - could damage your saddle, no?

Id cross that bridge if it came, but the saddle would still keep me in the tree as opposed to being yanked out/bucked off real good, and if an incident like that happened bad enough id probably go to the ground to regain myself anyways (catch my breath, drink of water, refocus, all cause an incident like that usually comes from complacency anyways) and when on the ground I can do an evaluation of the saddle anyways.

But with my saddle, there is the main thick "belt" which runs around the back of the saddle, which the bridge and D's are attached to, and the accessory loops are merely sewn into it, im confident the stitches would tear and cause no actual damage to the life support components of the saddle.
