That’s right. And it still has all the lights and sirens. When we put our blinkers on going down the road- PEOPLE MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. I wish the would do that when I’m driving my loaders

I was concerned at first that firemen and cops would not appreciate the look-a-like, but they actually think it’s great. We went to a hurricane expo a couple weeks ago with the truck and the fire department parked by us and couldn’t get enough of it. They thought it was the coolest thing. They were even offering to set me up to buy the upcoming decommissioned trucks in our city.

I just bought this truck last night in South Carolina and I’m gonna build it to hold my 90 lift and a mini skid and 40 sheets of plywood as well as all the tools that a crew needs to do five grand plus a day

years ago there was an article in a landscaping magazine about a company that used restored vintage trucks for their fleet. The guy had a fire pumper for his PHC rig. same thing, everyone thought it was cool.

Really? Never seen one used other than mine. I was kind of proud of my originality. I think I’m going to start seeing more of these around now. I have heard some of the other guys murmuring. Thanks for the reply.
