TCIA

TCIA has a boner for spider lifts. Every TCIA magazine has an article raving about them. Safer!!! Increase Productivity!!!! Make More $$$

Are they getting commission on sales or what??

All Bullshit if you ask me... Spend $100,000+ and you might be able to keep up with a good climber.

I see the value in certain situations but come on, stop forcing these lifts down our throats TCIA

We have one at the company I work for and they are very nice for dead backyard removals where climbing might be hazardous and hairy trims where it would be hard for a climber to access some parts of the tree. It has its uses and comes in handy, but im a firm believer that its not replacement for an amazing climber and in the fact that bucket trucks and spider lifts can ruin a climber and make him/her lazy if they aren't careful haha.
