TCIA EXPO

Ahh, Rick. You know what it's like to manage a business! I was orienting a sub with my foreman this morning, voted early, delivered 20 yards of compost, brought the truck to the welder for a minor repair, hit the PO Box, the bank, etc...AND still made it to the airport for a quick 1 hour jump to Baltimore. That took 3 cups of coffee!

I bought the ticket so far in advance that the price was next to nothing, and I don't have to think about parking. Kinda cool. I have to admit, when I found a stray shopping cart on the side of the road between the T-stop and the hotel, it was a welcome find for all my luggage.

Some people better get a rec climb going for sure!

Damn Eric you can really pile things to do in the morning, what a multitask. Bet ya couldn't have done that without the 3 cups of JOE.

Had a great time at Expo! Great to see some familiar faces and meet folks for the first time!

Tom D. thanks for sharing the table with us Thursday at the reception.

Mr. Hattier, as always wonderful to see you again! Btw the dreads will work for Geezers but I think something new is in order.

John H. Great to see you again and talk about the splicing Symposium. Please tell your guys that I am so sorry that I forgot about picking up the shirt they set aside for me. By the time I remembered the show floor was closed and I was already on the road home!

Ben, Eric and Kevin, thanks again for the Coffee Klatch yesterday afternoon.

Kevin, I always learn something from you, I think you need to present one of these days!

Eric, am definitely looking forward to doing some work together.

Ben, I'm gonna research your posts and encourage you to post more!

And to all the new folks I met, thanks for taking the time to chat! I'll probably not remember all your names but look forward to seeing you again, if not at Expo then at an ITCC, New England Grows or a Chapter Event.

Came home energized and with new thoughts and direction for sure!

Gerry, sorry you couldn't make it this year. I'll be in Sacramento in February. Can you offer any suggestions as to where I could climb a lodgepole pine without drawing too much attention?

Guy, I think this is the first time we haven't run into each other at a conference. If you were there, then I'm sorry to have missed you. After the ASCA academy I think I might be in need of visiting with you again, perhaps this spring or next fall around Expo?

Crazy Jimmy, been trying to meet you for years now and missed out this time too.

And to everyone else I may have missed, or didn't recognize, we'll try again next time!

Safe travels home everyone!

Nice to meet you, Rick. I hope the ride home offered all you were hoping for. I really want to see that Silver you've been working on.

It was a pleasure Rick! Best wishes for your company through the winter. I look forward to seeing everybody again. Coffee with you, Eric and Kevin was great! Very educational.

I had a great time at the EXPO. Really glad I made the effort to come over again. Met some old faces and new. Sorry I didnt get you see you Mark C if you're reading, you were always swamped everytime I walked past!

Hey Steve,
Great to meet you. Wish we could have gone out on the town. Maybe when I come over your way we can reconnect.

Cheers,
Donny

You too Donny. Yeah sorry we didn't arrange a night......our evenings were a bit sporadic. We didn't find the best place to go out till the Saturday either which was a bit of a shame......know for next time though!

Whens your UK trip planned?

Re: TCIA EXPO...and family reunion

Wow...I need to take notes to remember all of the people that I bump into.

One day I was standing at a crossroad near the climbing tree. A fella walked past and sorta stalled for a second. It was Singlejack...wow!

Sooo good to see all of the gang!

I met Riggs' son...sounds just like Pop too...looks a bit like him.

You mean exactly like him only 30 years younger! The attitude is the same too. Chip of the ol' block, pun intended
