Has anyone ever considered ranking chapter or international tcc competitiors ? Doesn't seem like a hard thing to do . Since I've been involved in the TCC for some time I think I could fairly rank our yearly competitors . Penn-Del Chapter Scores 2002
ITCC should be simple also . Go back over the last two years in the ITCC and using the scores from the pre-lim events along with the Masters and I'm sure a world rank top ten would be easy . It wouldn't help with scoring at all but you might be able to see a young climber rise in rankings . All sports do power rankings and player rankings .

Oxman has talked about climbers having their own trading cards. Think of how much a rookie year card for Liu, Kraus,
Chisholm, Babberney, Riggs, Underwood, Roachy, Hampton, Adams, etc.would be worth?

A friend of mine who is a vendor at the sports arenas in town has his own cards. Lists all of his stats on the back. Which
seasons he worked and which playoff games he woked. Ray Your Vendor is his handle.

Glenn are you interested on becoming the Official Tree Buzz handicapper? This reminds me of the way that gymanstics meets were scored in my sophmore year. Instead of using the points from the judges scores, a first place was 5 points down to one point. This type of scored doesn't show the strength of a person or team but it does give a way to rank people that takes all of the score out. This is a great idea!

Whats up Glenny, good link there. For those who dont know, Riggs received an award from the Chapter for his work with and for the Penn-Del chapter. Thats the least they could have done. He should have gotten the mad skills award. Everyone ...raise your mugs.
Anyway, that would be pretty cool. Just something else to brag about with others, kick you into gear alittle and just have for yourself. My son like to see my name up there somewhere to :) Maybe those cards would bring some groupies our industry doesnt have. Now were talking.

Hello.
I have a question that's a little off subject, but this post got me thinking. I don't know who a lot of the posters are. Many of you only show your handle name. So many of you compete or judge comps I must know you. Is there a reason for the secret identities or I'm I just to dense to figure out who is who?
I liked Oxmans idea of cards. After watching whole families bring Bedddes brand new T shirts they had bought for him to sign. When he said he thought the ink might run in the wash, they replied "were not going to wear these silly". Maybe we could sell signed cards to raise money for research?

Glenn,
Good idea, it may give a better idea of where a climber,s skills are rather than who happened to win the MC.

Autograhped shirts...I find that amusing. Mark, maybe you could supplement your income by selling unwashed compititon shirts.
