I like Blake's best because it doesn't usually slip once set. Downside is that it puts most of the friction on one focused point, so long descents can easily scorch your tail. Retie to descend on tautline, use a fig8, or come down slowly.
Tautline spreads friction evenly over the wraps, but tends to slip more.
Haven't used either in years, except for rare exceptions. I use a VT now.
