Tar sands

I don't think so. I think that's natural gas. Here though they take clean water maybe recycled water and shoot er down to be mixed with oil and hence contaminated.

yes the tar sands are extracted by means of mixing hot water with the oil to make the oil viscous enough to flow whereas natural gases are extracted by means of 'fracking'- fracturing solid rock with hydro-power to release the fuel below.

What do they do with all the water after they mix it with oil and also I wonder what happens when they take out the tar sands do they have sinkholes?

The claim is that a large percentage of the water is reclaimed although the fine details of these processes do not have to be disclosed to the public due to laws concerning "trade secrets." Around here you can see places where they are making new wells everywhere at some of these sites the drilling companies erect 30 ft walls and place guards armed with machine guns outside!

As far as the sink-holes I have no idea but I do think it is crazy how they are fracturing the earths crust right near the largest shield volcano in the world up there in Wyoming.

The effluent water is held in evaporation ponds. The gallons/hour they pump down are unbelievable so those ponds must be large. They have all kinds of bird scare attempts but what's a duck supposed to do when it's caught in a storm. With recycling the water they send it through cyclonic technology like a big Dyson vacuum. High maintenance due to the sand's abrasion.

Scandalous. When will it end?

"there ain't no use,
nobody can stop them now
well it seems like
total destruction is
the only solution!"
