TAC 730 Chipper

:)Looks like the delivery guy scratched the paint!

Ha! I asked him and he said he picked it up from the factory and drove it straight to me. :)

A little nerve-wrecking when the front tires of the tow truck lifted 2ft off the ground while lowering to ground. (missed that on camera)

We love our Woodsman (Terex) chippers. We have 6 or so. Great machines. Easy to work on, and stand up to a beating! I've run Vermeers Bandits and Woodsmans regularly. The woodsmans have been my favorite. Wonder how they compare to morbark (i've run them only once or twice, not enough for a comparison). Good luck with yours, and enjoy!

It throws chips consistently hard. We'll pack chips into the back corners of the chip trucks 15 ft bed by 6ft tall no prob.

Nice, Bix! Booyah, man. You'll really enjoy that machine. We love ours. When it's all washed up and clean it could be a Woodswoman. :) (with all respect)

Bix, your winch- can you winch in simultaneously while running the feed wheels and raising the feed wheel? Or is it set up Brush Bandit style, run the winch OR the feed wheels, but not both.

Cory, the operator can winch in while activating the hydraulic feed-wheel lift/crush. Once the log has been captured simply switch over to the "feed" position and hit the blue "R" button and you have full control over the feed wheel.
