The US Navy can be thanked, or blamed, for inventing the T-shirt. About every nine months or so I have to cull through my t-shirt drawer and send a box off to Goodwill. Sometimes its hard to give up a shirt.

I usually knit all of my own garb...no sweatshop for me, but it does tend to keep me from attending events that I may have already made a commitment to.
