Suspending circus apparatus from horizontal steel cable

Hello.
I hope to find a little rigging advice here. I operate a business utilising trees to create various play equipment like zip lines, rope swings and tree platforms. I want to rig a 10mm 7x19 cable horizontally between 2 trees and suspend circus apparatus from it.

My question is, what device can be used to make fixed points from which I can suspend stuff from?

Cheers,
Jerome

Or the ACCT

You're heading into a project that needs to be well engineered. The trees might not be strong enough for what you have in mind. I know that there are some very qualified people involved with ACCT

Short pieces of rope would work the same as the clamps, less money and possibly easier on the trees.

Welcome aboard Jerome!

Can we see some pics of the finished outcome?

Living trees are not the best for permanent installations due to the fact that they continue to grow and change until they reach a climax point and then begin to decline and eventually die. The installation of hardware can actually harm the tree and initiate the decline spiral.

Better would be a "semi-permanent" or temporary installation that is planned to be removed at some point in the future.

I'm sure you've looked at the math too but be advised that ziplines and horizontal cables with a load in the middle exert a tremendous amount of force to the anchorage at the ends of the cable.

We're not trying to dissuade you just hoping you research thoroughly and come up with a safe and effective product. What's the name of your company anyway, can I come play too?
