Superlative trees around the world

My brother-in-law spent time in Kuwait as a child, and has seen the tree of life in the dessert.

Interesting list, I've seen one.

I don't know anyone who's been to the small northern island with the rarest pennantia baylisiania, let alone know someone who's gone to see it.

Looked it up and they've cultivated it now in nurseries. It's not much of a nice looking tree. The last one is female and despite trying they can't get it to propagate.

Goats ate the rest of the trees. Lots of goat islands around NZ, lol.

Tane Mahuta.
A kauri tree on North Island, NZ.
My knees buckled and I cried like I did when my father died when I was in it's presence.
The Methusela tree. Sierra Nevada.
The Witch Tree. Superior's north shore.
Joshua tree. The, not the species.
In spite of mankind, they witnessed and survived our parasitic presence on earth. So far anyway.
