Just practice it a bit , what are you using to advance your rope wrench ?

Working on Ddrt so the weight will only work for the first step, then I'm just pushing more slack into the ground and the weight is sitting on the floor.Put some weight under you on your rope or get a belay ,maybe that will help
Don't tell me it's easy Jimmy! I spent two hours fucking around with it todayIt really is easy bro , short strides like your peddling backwards
That was the first thing I said when I picked it up!! Before I even tried to use it, I said out loud "Damn, that spring is tight".One of my climbers demoed that ascender and said it had a super tight spring , that was his one complaint .
That's actually a really good idea, I'll see if I can get one of my groundies to record a video of me so you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. My bad bro , it will get better ,but I find it easier on srt , but its not bad Ddrt . I wish I could see a video of you going up , i bet we could see areas to help.
X2I know some folks will frown on this but when I started messing with srt I would ascend with just my hitch. However, I would keep an hms biner on my lower d's to throw in a quick munter if I needed to descend. Switching to ddrt of course once I reached my tip
A few loops, and a slippery bight...
The Haas isn't what's giving me trouble, it's the super classic foot ascender. The Haas works exactly how it's supposed to.I prefer saka over Haas. Made my own with a ct ascender. Works great with hitch climber set up for ddrt
Gave it to one of my climbers today to see if he had any trouble with it, he has been rope walking and has lots of experience with ascenders.. he said the same thing you're saying Jimmy! I'm sending it back today.I promise it has a really super tight spring bro , send it back and buy the CT
