The studs don't look that loose. You have my number Steve if you need something made just call and consider it done.

I stand corrected, I missed the flares and just looked at the threads. The slot clearance looks about average.

Subscribing ... I'm considering a Sugihara 24" bar for my MS441C ... plus a lighter weight 36" bar for my MS661.

Steve, thanks for clarifying the universal model and the ST models for Stihl saws. I have 2 Sugihara bars I haven't put in service yet and plan on getting a couple more. Now I know to beware. Very impressed with the quality of these bars. Haven't used the 2 I have 'cause they look so pretty! So they're hangin' up till I wear out the bars in use.

I put the Sugihara 14'' on my 201tc for show. It feels a tad heavier than Stihl's E-light weight bar.

Seems that my 15 year old 361 has old bar studs. STIHL updated the base of those studs about 9 years ago. Time to get new bar studs.

I put the Sugihara 14'' on my 201tc for show. It feels a tad heavier than Stihl's E-light weight bar.

Good to know since I put a 16" E-Light bar on my 201TC. Thanks!

Yes I do believe it's lighter by a tad. I will take the Stihl off the saw later and post my results as they come off the scale.
