Suggestions for a 8 mm core dependant db

evo

Been here much more than a while
Location

I'm wanting to take the core out of a 8mm prussic line or find a 6mm hollow braid that I can make a rope wrench tether out of. Something that in a basket formation strong enough to be life support (I know the wrench is not) I'd like to take a bight, bury for 10" or so leaving two long ends to do locking Brummel on. Something like moss's v4 tether in the SRT section. I'd use tenex but it would crowd my carabiner.

I used the core of HRC for mine. HRC is 8mm with the cover on it, but the core alone is less...more like 6mm.

The ropes mention are VERY loosely woven and need to be covered with something (heat shrink tubing). Will you be covering it with something?

If not, I would go with a more tightly woven cordage.

the armor coated vectran is nothing like the beeline vectran, it is totally bomb proof.

I was thinking of reusing, the piece of fuel line that I have on it now. It's working great, so yes it would be covered. Well mostly should I cover the 2" legs for the hitch hiker?
