Did the Kawasaki engine come on the carltons or did you retrofit it?

Hey I told chris to post here, I talked to him the other day and I am pretty sure it came with a Kawasaki engine and was replaced with Kawasaki. I don't recall why the first engine went bad. I will check it out if anyone is interested.

I checked with Carlton and they don't list the Kawasaki as an option. I've been told they're an excellent engine due to the fact it's liquid cooled. To bad I didn't catch you a month ago, my brother was looking for a grinder but just bought one.

The kawasacki was carlton issued. 27hp thus the 2700 model not the 2500. Mine came new with it. They are good motors.
