If you ever need shop manuals for you Stihl saws, here's one of the few places to obtain them. I have shop manuals now, for all my saws.

Screw that, cost to much to do it that way. I have the stihl IPL's and Service Manuals cd those people are using to make money off of you with.

I give the cd for free when I feel like making a batch to send out.
 
I'd love to have a copy of that, next batch. I'll pay you for your costs (CD & postage, etc.).

Stihl doesn't want customers to have the parts and service manuals for some reason. So, at least you can get them at TradeBit. I didn't think that they were overly expensive.

But, I do think Stihl should offer them up on their website for free, just as they do the user manuals...
 
I just bought the Stihl service CD from that site for $5, every power tool up to 2008, works perfectly.

UPDATE 10-1-2009: It looks like TradeBit is no longer offering these Stihl manuals. My old links don't work anymore and nothing comes up when I search for Stihl model numbers now!

I don't think they're available any longer on that website that I found (Tradebit); although I was able to get the ones for my saws before they revoked the offer. Probably got some heat from Stihl about it...

However, if you can track down a fellow by the handle "cutforfun"/"TreeTrim", then he can send you out CD's with most models on them. He subscribes to multiple chainsaw blogs. I know he's on Racesaws.com for sure.

Parts lists are included.

I got Stihl and Husky IPL's and S.M.'s. I just need to burn another batch when there is enough need again.

The newest saws are not on them for stihl 362 441 261 211 etc and husky missing new ones 372xp-XT 576 560 562 T435 T540 etc

Cant remember username. But your 2 cd's are in the mail for stihl and husky.
